Well Harper you've made it one month in this thing called life. Way to go.
Thus far you've been a pretty laid back baby although lately you've started to be a little more fussy. For most of your first month though all you wanted to do was sleep, eat, and mess your diaper. Sometimes all at once.
We keep wondering when your dark hair is going to start falling out and getting replaced with the blonde our family is known for but as days continue to pass without that dark mane thinning I think maybe you might have the recessive dark hair gene from my family. Just ask your Aunt Kimberly about having dark hair in a blonde headed family...
You love to eat and you made the transition to bottle seamlessly. Like not even a question as to what this bottle thing was - you just started chugging away. If it has milk in it you're all good. This is good because now feeding you isn't all up to your Mom. I can help out by giving you a bottle when you're hungry and she wants to sleep.
As I said above you're starting to be a little less laid back lately. You stay awake longer and you grunt a lot. Not so much the cute baby coos but full on grunts like some sort of wild hog. You'll grunt when you're awake, waking up, or when you're asleep. Grunt grunt grunt.
Your little neck has gotten a little stronger and you can keep your head up a bit. It makes it a little dicey when I hold you upright and you decide to get your head up off my chest and look around. Inevitably you run out of strength and your head goes lolling backwards and I have to catch you.
All in all though thus far you've been a much easier baby to deal with than Madison. I'm not sure if that's because were not as anxious as we were with her (being 1st time parents at the time) or if you are in fact a better child.
